a few drawings

It's a working progress. I dont know why i'm suddenly feeling the need to draw gloopy characters with abnormal eye placements. DEAL with it.

trades men

may i just quote..

"AUSTRALIAN ladies are digging the tradies, finding their rugged good looks, great physiques and down to earth personalities a big draw.

A recent RSVP survey by the online dating agency, found 86 per cent of women wanted to date a tradesman.

Of those who responded to the survey, 40 per cent had previously dated a tradie, indicating that corporate suits and metrosexuals were no longer appealing."

from the very reliable source --->http://www.circleofmoms.com<<----

im sorry did i see the words 'down to earth personalitlies'
I'm not lying when i say that at one point druring the day the 4 traides working out the back of us were actually grunting to eachother.. like another language.. for at least 2minutes.. just grunts.. no words

I'm sorry.. but women. Of australia.. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING.
the 'things' working on the house behind ours at the moment.. are the dirtiest.. foulest looking things.. (and sounding mind you).. that i have EVER come across.. and thats a big EVER.
They made me so physically ill.. that in order to avoid conversations with the beasts.. i caught a bus to run my errands for the day.. rather than tell them to move shit off my driveway so i could take my car.

yeah i know right. OUTRAGEOUS choice by me. But you gotta do what a woe-mans gotta do.
so yeah scum. ew.

my long weekend

In Kalgoorlie

Spent my long weekend just been in Kalgoorlie. I had. So much fun.
It was brilliant.
My sister Erin, best buddy Gemma and I stayed for 3 days with one of our mates who's studying like a mad scientist up there. I aint lying when i say mad scientist. He has his own lab and we weren't allowed to touch anything

We did just stay for 3 days. Probably wouldn't be keen on staying 4.
You would possibly run out of things to do on day 4
But HEY it was an awesome three days.

Here's a few highlights

Day one:
my  'sis' and I landed. We greeted by our buddy Simon and Gemma. She rocked up the night before. We got ourselves a pub meal.10bucks!  Bargain for a BLT.
Then we experienced food shopping in Kalgoorlie. Much the same as Perth. Annoying. People smashing into you, children running rampid etc..
That night we hit the clubs. Saw the skimpys. Which are the lovely ladies who serve you without any shirts on.. so you see their bewbs. Very classy.
A man who looked about 12 offered me a drink, I freaked and from that point on Simon was my boyfriend for the rest of the night. I made sure to give him a pat on the back every now and again to 'sell the idea'
Don't get me wrong this boy/man was a nice guy and I'm ALL for free drinks...  the part I'm not a fan of though. The talking. As soon as i get a free drink off this dude he owns me. I'd feel obliged to awkwardly talk to him for half the night. Who can be bothered really.
Hit another pub after that.. drunk danced to beatz until all the sugar dissolved inside us then we decided to stumble home.

Day two:
Tourist central, population us kids.
First thing we did was drive up to see the pit. the super massive pit! It was pretty amazing. You're looking down and there's all these small trucks that are actually the size of godzilla's children.. but you're just too far away to JUSTIFY THE SIZE.

At one point of the home made tour given by our dear friend Simon, we just drove around until one of us (mostly me) yelled STOP. I could then get out of the car and take epic pictures of broken fences and abandoned houses. It was awesome. Then they'd pull a funny and drive off with me chasing the car half way down the road.
All the old buildings and shanty town houses had charm that swooned me. Will have to get my photos developed soon and post some up.

I got overly excited when we were driving around taking happy snaps. Every time i saw a different type of red dirt.. i'd take a photo.. at one point i just walked up to a mans house and took a photo of the big pile of red dirt out the front of his house.. totally not necessary. I can't see it being a great photo when i get it developed.. but I just got a little nostalgic.

My twin sis and I get a touch excited when we see mass bush/dirt in one vicinity, brings us back to our country town childhood. Where our swimming pool was a back damn filled with tadpoles and our toys were sticks and rocks. Literally.

Kalgoorlie. Great times. Good people. Just don't stare for too long
